Dean Kamen, Elon Musk and Space X

I am following the Dragon Space X mission and I am thrilled that “science is cool again”.  I can’t tell you how many of my high school students thinks NASA is no longer in existence?!!  Sure they retired the space shuttle, but how about curiosity? and the other NASA missions (too many to count) currently operational.  Congratulations to Elon Musk and the Space X team for having the persistence to make this mission happen.

I am also reading Code name Ginger  – The story behind the Segway and Dean Kamen’s quest to invent a new world.

Here are some pictures from a tour of his house and some other images

Reminder International Diner will take the place of our regular robotics meeting –  all are invited (bring an international dish).   Enjoy your Memorial Day Weekend!

  1. GO SPACE X! Good job on the launch and the mission! The segway is also cool, but I’m glad Dean made FIRST instead. 😀
